Founder & CEO
Lovish Agrawal
Lovish Agrawal is the founder of GemstonesForSale.com and Founder & CEO of Akrati Jewels Inc. A GIA-certified Applied Jewelry Professional based in Jaipur, he has spent close to a decade building Akrati Jewels into a global gemstone and jewelry business - sourcing, trading, and exporting coloured stones across international markets. GemstonesForSale.com is the direct-to-buyer extension of that work, curating over 400 gemstone categories sourced through his network of mines, cutting workshops, and trading centres. Every parcel passes through his grading before it leaves the building. His goal is straightforward: a marketplace built on trust, transparency, and the real expertise of working in the trade.

Covers the full sourcing chain — from rough material at Jaipur's morning gem market to faceted parcels from cutting workshops and trade-verified suppliers. The breadth of our 400+ category inventory across loose stones, cabochons, carvings, and rough is the result of his daily presence in the trade.

Operations Manager

Every stone entering our inventory passes through his desk before it reaches a product listing. He inspects each piece under loupe and daylight, verifies weight and dimensions, cross-checks lab certificates against the stone, and confirms treatments are disclosed accurately. Nothing ships until what's listed matches what's in the parcel.

Make sure the stone you see online is the stone you receive. He shoots under daylight-balanced lighting against neutral backgrounds, uses calibrated monitors during editing, and follows a strict no-colour-correction rule on every stone he photographs.

He focuses on video - the 360° rotation clips and live-light footage that show how a stone actually behaves under light rather than how it looks in a single still. For collectors and designers buying remotely, this is often the difference between confidence and hesitation.

What Team Members Are Saying

My work takes me out of the office most of the time - to the market, to the cutter's place, on calls late at night. I am very thankful that the team trusts my judgement here. Lovish only said one thing to me from day one - if you would not buy it for yourself, do not buy it for the company. That has stayed with me.

- Abrar Khan

The team always stands behind me. If I say a stone should not go, it does not go - simple as that. This kind of trust is rare in our trade. It makes me feel my work has real value.

- Shivraj Chanvariya

The cutters work with me, the team supports me, and the customers also trust me. The best feeling is when a customer comes back for a second or third order. That is when I know we have done our job properly.

- Shivani Kanwar

Photographing a gemstone is not a fast job. Sometimes a full morning goes in getting only a few good shots. The good thing here is that nobody is rushing me. For our team, accuracy is more important than speed. Because of this, the work actually turns out the way it should.

- Himanshu Sharma

Honestly, I have everything I need here to do my work properly - proper lighting, good equipment, and enough time for each stone.

- Sahil Ramnani

Operations is that kind of work where, if everything is going smoothly, nobody notices you. I am happy with that. The team here gives me space to do my work in my own way, but support is always there when I need it. The office stays busy, but never stressful.

- Jagmohan

I am on calls and messages with customers the whole day. What I like most is that I never have to give any excuse for our product. By the time the customer reaches me, the team has already done their work properly - stones are checked, photos are correct, orders are packed well. This makes my work much easier, and much more honest.

- Priya Garum

When I bring feedback from designers or buyers, the team takes it seriously - it shows in what we sell, and in how we present things. Because of this, my work feels meaningful, not just for show.

- Saloni Asnani

I have the time to research properly, the freedom to push back on a draft, and the full support of the in-house team whenever I need to check a fact. Because of all this, our content comes out genuinely better.
